Nadia Enciso

Hello! My name is Nadia, and I have been on the staff with Central Missouri Eyecare Associates since early 2011. I have almost 12 years of experience working in the eye care industry. I am a certified optician, through the American Board of Opticianry, and love helping patients find that perfect pair of glasses. I have over 7 years of experience as a Certified Para-Optometric Assistant and I’m currently Central Missouri Eyecare Associates’s Contact Lens Specialist.  Over the course of these past 12 years I have had the opportunity to demonstrate empathy and honesty to the many patients in which I have greatly enjoyed. One thing that I love about my profession is the satisfaction I receive from helping and providing eye care to our patients, friends and my family.

I speak three languages, Spanish, English and Portuguese. Outside of the office I spend over 800 hours each year in volunteering service which I highly enjoy participating in. I love fashion, eating healthy, exercising, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

I joined the Central Missouri Eyecare Associates team as an staff optician in 2018. I’m new to the optometry field but that isn’t slowing me down! I strive to grow with the company and continually expand my knowledge as an optician.  I have worked previously in Retail and Real Estate which allows me to bring a level of professionality to Central Missouri Eyecare Associates.

I like to spend my free time riding motorcycles with my spouse, helping to build our house, exercising and nesting for our growing family. I loves being a part of the Innovative Vision staff and I find it extremely rewarding to work with our patients and especially the children.

Sara Powers

I joined Central Missouri Eyecare Associates in January 2009 after retiring from a 30 year career in payroll and human resources.  As the Business Manager for the Practice I’m responsible for the behind-the-scenes operations that help run our Practice successfully and efficiently. I’ve been a resident of the Jefferson City-Raymore community for 40 years so I always enjoy a quick visit with long-time patients and friends as I breeze through the waiting area to fill my coffee cup. It’s also enjoyable to run into our patients while shopping in the neighborhood.

In my spare time I can be found browsing around antique shops, working in my flower garden, reading, and spending time with my daughter and two grandsons.

Pete Sheeley

I joined Central Missouri Eyecare Associates in October 2012 as a high school intern primarily converting paper charts into electronic records. I was promoted to Optometric Technician and have since earned two certifications, and now hold the Certified Para-Optometric Assistant title. This certification allows me to take even better care of our patients, by being very knowledgeable member of our team. I received my Associates Degree from Longview Community College in 2016 and then transferred to the University of Central Missouri where I’ll complete my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, graduating in the Fall 2019.

Aside from school and work, I enjoy working on car stereos and spending time with my family, friends and dog Lola.

Margaret Speer-Strickland

I joined the Central Missouri Eyecare Associates team of staff in August of 2018 as our ‘Director of First Impressions’. You’ll find me at the front desk with a smile on my face greeting you as you arrive. As our Director of First Impressions I am responsible for providing outstanding customer service for each and every patient. I enjoy interacting with and getting to know our patients on a more personal level. I bring a wealth of knowledge to Central Missouri Eyecare Associates as I retired from a 30 year career in federal service.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending my free time antiquing, quilting, crocheting and doing fun activities with my grandchildren.

Ruth Sullivan

I joined the Central Missouri Eyecare Associates team in February of 2012 and I am aptly nicknamed Central Missouri Eyecare Associates’s ‘Superstar Optician’ with the business cards to prove it! I have over 17 years of experience in Optometry and Ophthalmology. After I graduated from Jefferson City High School, I followed the advice of a friend and began working in the medical field. In 2001, I really found my true calling, working as a technician for a local Ophthalmology practice in Springfield, MO. My expertise ranges from contact lens specialist to surgical assistant to American Board of Opticianry Certified Optician. I am a valued team member for my flexibility and ability to work in any position at Central Missouri Eyecare Associates.

In my spare time, I really enjoy swimming, canoeing, gardening, and anything outdoors. When I am not here at Central Missouri Eyecare Associates working with our amazing patients my husband Jeremy and I are kept busy by our two teenage children Olivia & Taylor.

Ashley Wininger

I joined the Central Missouri Eyecare Associates staff in January of 2016 as the ‘Director of First Impressions’ which is our front desk position. I have over 10 years of customer service experience, and truly believe in creating a great first impression by providing a level of customer service above and beyond your expectations. I am always interested in learning and expanding my knowledge in eye care to better help out my fellow team members, which is why in the latter half of 2018 I’ll start training towards becoming a Certified Para-Optometric Technician.

I was born and raised in the Jefferson City-Raymore area and I am a graduate from Ray-Pec High School. When I’m not at work I can be found trying to keep up with my very energetic dogs.
